Physics Lab Renovation

In March 2021, Engr. Festus Idowu of 1991 undertook major renovation works and remodeling of the Physics laboratory for the school, focusing on safety, durability, and aesthetics. This project also provided all the required utilities and supporting infrastructure, with the scope of work as follows.

– remodelling of the internal ambience for a conducive learning environment ;

-tiling of floors, teachers’ platform and students’ cabinets all-round

-lighting – direct connection to the power grid and separating the Lab from the adjoining classes

-aluminium roofing to make the Lab aesthetic

-reconnection to a flowing water source for water supplies during experiments as required;

-chairs and drawers with HDF materials for 100 students.

-painting in and out;

-replacement of wood cabinets using block work and a concrete top for durability

-Burglary-proof for safety;

– serviced the Louvres to enable the windows to operate as expected
